Nice to meet you! I’m Juan Esteban.

I want you to imagine for a moment what a therapy session with me might be like.

Most of my sessions are online, although in-person sessions are also available. This is more than a professional space; it is a genuine encounter between you and me. Here, you begin your inner journey—a process of self-discovery that unfolds one step at a time.

The First Session

At this time, the most important thing is getting to know you, understanding what has brought you here, and beginning to explore your story.

It’s not about solving everything in one conversation. Instead, it is a safe, judgment-free space where we can explore your experiences and whatever is weighing on you.

This first session is your opportunity to speak and feel heard. My role is to be there with empathy, curiosity, and attention.

You Are the Expert

From the very beginning, you are the expert on yourself.

No one knows your life, your thoughts, or your emotions better than you do.

My role is not to give you quick answers or magical solutions. It is to walk alongside you and guide you professionally, so you can discover and develop your own potential.

You are the one holding the reins on this journey. I’m here to help you go deeper into the parts of yourself you may not have fully explored yet.

Next Session

Every session is an opportunity to understand your emotions, to notice how they arise within you, and to explore how you respond to them.

This process can be revealing. It can help you see the challenges in your life with greater clarity.

Along the way, we may identify patterns you keep repeating or aspects of yourself and your life that you would like to change. That, too, is part of the richness of self-discovery.

Therapy is not a linear path or a fixed map. It is a flexible journey that adapts to your pace and your needs.

My Role

I’m here for you. Throughout our sessions, I’ll use different tools and strategies to support your journey, helping you explore yourself without getting lost in dead ends.

My approach is not about giving advice or quick solutions. Instead, I support you as you make your own decisions and offer the perspective and guidance you need to choose the path that feels most authentic to you.

Therapy is not a prescription; it is a collaborative process in which you and I work together.

This inner journey may lead us to discover strengths you didn’t know you had, reconnect with experiences you may not have fully appreciated at the time, and recognize wounds from your past.

But as I often say: Our wounds are witnesses to where we’ve come from, not to where we’re going. What matters in this process is giving yourself permission to recognize and embrace everything that makes you who you are—without filters, without external expectations—and from there, begin to build the path you want to follow.

A Journey Adapted to You and Your Needs

Every person is unique, and every therapeutic process is unique too.

In our sessions, I’ll adapt my approach to what you need. Sometimes we may focus on introspection. At other times, we may explore patterns, analyze a particular situation, or work through a specific problem.

It all depends on what you need to explore at that moment and what you bring into the session.

There is no fixed length for the therapeutic process because it depends on your needs and goals.

Some people find relief and clarity after just a few sessions. Others need more time to go deeper and transform long-standing patterns of behavior.

What I can assure you is that every session will be a space for genuine encounter—a place where you can get to know yourself more deeply and begin to live with greater awareness and self-compassion.

The Deeper Purpose

Sometimes we think that an inner journey is simply about resolving the past.

But in reality, it can also be a way of meeting yourself more fully in the present and moving toward the future with greater authenticity and wholeness.

Ultimately, this journey is about living in greater alignment with yourself and with what truly matters to you.

If you’re ready to begin this journey inward, I’m here to support you along the way.

I’ll be here when you’re ready.
