I’m Juan Esteban!
I’m a psychologist, but I’m also a son, brother, uncle, and friend. Throughout my professional journey, I’ve kept coming back to the same purpose: supporting others as they explore and find their own sense of purpose.
I trained in an existential approach, with a focus on Reconciliation Psychotherapy, as well as third-wave cognitive and contextual psychotherapies.
I speak Spanish, English and Portuguese.
For more than 10 years, I’ve worked with people at different stages of life and in a variety of settings—as a university lecturer and supervisor for psychology interns, a volunteer trainer, and a consultant in the social impact, financial, and technology sectors. Today, I bring all of that experience into my work in psychological therapy, academic guidance, and professional consulting.
I offer online therapy throughout Colombia and in-person sessions in Medellín. My online practice is supported by my training with the Psychology and Online Interventions research group.
I also share reflections and practical strategies on self-awareness, well-being, and personal transformation on Instagram and through my blog, where I write about the experiences and emotions that shape our everyday lives.
